Entertainment:

The accommodation is close to several recreational areas but the most notable one is Bethnal Green Park. The park is incredibly spacious and can serve for a various number of activities such as jogging or ball games. Also, the park is equipped with a basketball court and other facilities for anyone to enjoy.

Essential Services:

There essential services in the area surrounding Unite Students Blitheahle Court are quite limited. The most notable ones are a police station around the area which serves to provide a sense of security for the surrounding residents of the area.

London Series: Events at Unite Students (English)

Although Unite Students Blithehale Court can be inhabited by remaining solitary, the accommodation provides activities for students to get together and get to know each other. These events might not be as frequent as university accommodations, but can also prove to be extremely enjoyable experiences.

Weekly:

The accommodation provides a variety of events and does an amazing job advertising them. However, the parties are by far the most popular one yet since they provide the food and drinks for the event. A get together with free food and drinks plus enjoyable company can make for an amazing experience for anys students. Also, it is a great example that shows the accommodation cares about its students which is a soothing thing to understand. Furthermore, there are parties being made for every special event. It serves a different themes in terms of the special events being celebrated which keeps the parties varied and continuously exciting.

London Series: Social Life at Unite Students (English)

Living at Unite Studetns Blithehale Court will come with a varied amount of socialising as there are rooms that students can inhabit individually. However, students that live with flatmates will have to cope with daily interactions and the situation of communal living to be able to have an enjoyable experience.

Exposure:

Students that live with flatmates will be exposed to social interactions in various different situations. Firstly, when cooking students will have to do so in the communal area of the flat’s shared kitchen. Students should remember to always respect their flatmates when cooking so as to not bother them in the middle of the night or cause an accident that leaves an unfortunate odour lingering in the shared kitchen. Second, the communal space within the flat’s can become an essential part of living with flatmates. The communal space should be utilised to its maximum potential as it is a great opportunity to create bonds that will last a lifetime. Lastly, the common area in the lobby will be a place where students will be exposed to each other. This area is not necessarily a place where students will spend much time at but it is nice to be able to friendlily greet people on a daily basis.

Fortunately, students will have their own bathrooms to avoid untimely meetings in dicey circumstances!

Interaction:

Having good flatmates will make anyone’s daily life so much easier as not only they able to bond and became close friends, but also help each other in the chores as well. Finding this balance between friendship and responsibility will be crucial in living with flatmates and is overall a very teaching experience. Also, the people at Unite Students Blithehall Court are generally really friendly. They would he understanding and would help if they can do something that i struggle on doing.

London Series: Food at Unite Students

Living at Unite Students a resident must be able to either cook for themselves or be wealthy enough to order delivery everyday. Fortunately, Unite Students facilitates both cooking and eating out/delivering in well due to its well built kitchens and strategic location.

Cooking:

Cooking at Unite Students Blithehale Court is a relatively relaxed experienced due to the space and equipment provided by the accommodation. The kitchen is well-equipped with equipment such as a stove, oven, microwave and fridge. This allows for students to comfortably store their groceries and cook them in almost anyway possible. Additionally, due to the large space allocated within the communal space of shared kitchens, students will be able to cook comfortably without having to worry about bumping into appliances and potentially triggering the fire alarm. However, it is worth noting that residents will probably have to buy their own cooking utensils.

Eating Out/ Delivering In:

The area surrounding Unite Students Blithehale Court is surrounded by grocery stores and restaurants. For example, there is a Sainsbury’s supermarket about 10 minutes on foot and a smaller Sainsbury’s just around the corner. There are a multitude of restaurants in the area but most of it was fast food (Pizza Hut, Nando’s, Chinese takeaways) although there were some pubs that served food nearby. Also, Shoreditch is in walking distance with a good variety of restaurants.

London Series: Area at Garden Halls(English)

Campus:

Garden Halls is situated incredibly close to several Unis. UCL and SOAS are the closest unis to the halls which take around 10 minutes by foot. Also, City and LSE are located relatively close the halls but take around 20-30 minutes by foot.

Entertainment:

International Hall is close to several entertainment centres. First, UCL is close to the Brunswick which has various activities for residents to choose from. The Brunswick has a cinema in Curzon and a variety of restaurants to spend time in. Also, International Hall is close to Coram’s field which has a football field, basketball field and outdoor gym equipment.

Food:

There is a wide selection of dining options surrounding International Hall. Firstly, there are several restaurants such as Nando’s, Wasabi and Itsu around the are either in or out of The Brunswick. Also, there are several stores that you can buy groceries. Waitrose and Sainsbury Local at The Brunswick along with Tesco are good options to buy groceries.

Also, Garden Halls is surrounded by multiple restaurants that serve a variety of cuisines. A notable restaurant is San Marzano which serves delicious pizzas at a relatively affordable price point. What sets them apart from other restaurants in the area is their lunch deal which serves 2 small pizzas at 10 pounds.

Essential Services:

There essential services in the area surrounding International Hall are quite limited. The most notable ones are the NHS Medical Centre at The Brunswick and several post offices around the area. There is also a police station within walking distance around the area on the way to covent garden.

Transport:

There are several options for transport within the area. Kings Cross station is very close to the halls taking 5-10 minutes by foot. Russel Square Station is also within walking distance with a 10 minute journey by foot. Also, there are several bus stops near Russel Square Park which are 10 minutes by foot.
