London Series: Nongkrong

Nongkrong, hanging out in english, is a massive part of Indonesian culture. It does not only refer to the act of gathering for recreational purposes but also the mingling of personalities leaving an emotional imprint that one carries with them for the rest of their lives. Being an Indonesian, it is hard to imagine a life without nongkrong and an unfamiliar country would never be an inadequate Indonesian excuse. This week we will be recommending five places within close proximity to UCL “yang pecah bro” :

  • Main Quad
  • Saint Pancras Square
  • Regent’s Canal
  • Student Centre
  • Farmer’s Market
  • Caffé Tropea
